The NY Times-lauded neighborhood is debuting 3 new coffee and tea spots in 2026
By Paolo Bicchieri March 9, 2026
Amy Lee has always called San Francisco’s Richmond District home. She grew up going out to dinner with her family at Giorgio’s Pizzeria and Le Soleil. Today, she lives in the Inner Richmond, in the house where her husband grew up.
“We’ve been here our whole lives,” Lee says. “It’s a really special community.”
Now the speech pathologist-turned-business owner is preparing to open her first cafe in the neighborhood. She’ll debut Evermore this year at 200 Clement St., kitty-corner from Lee’s childhood destination Giorgio’s Pizza. But she’s only one of a small boom of cafe owners doing the same thing in the neighborhood of late.
